What is the recommended tire pressure for my vehicle? Welcome to Mercie J, where compassion and craftsmanship come together, I'm Rick Smith. So typically the tire pressure label is going to be either here in the door jam or maybe here on the door, but it's it's typically going to be somewhere in the door jam. First of all I want you to understand that if your car is not been modified, so it has tires that are are originally designed for the vehicle, then this tire pressure is going to be what you're going to use. Now if you read this label, it will say cold tire pressure. What that means is your car hasn't been driven and it's the overnight low. So cold as a relative term because right now here are overnight low is in the high 80s, but the difference between the overnight low and when the car's been driven during the heat of the day is typically three to four PSI. So normally when the car is in the shop, we read this number and we set it three or four PSI above this number so that way during the overnight low when the car sitting, the tire pressure will be at the specified value. So I hope this has been informational to you and until next time, safe travels and blessings to you.
