Diagnosing a Nissan Titan Truck with Chassis Ears

We were talking about diagnosing wheel bearing noises.

So we have what we thought was a wheel bearing noise, but what we did is we put microphones, one on the left wheel bearing, one on the right wheel bearing and one on the front differential.

So the first sound you're going to be hearing is the left front wheel bearing. Now I'm going to go to the right front wheel bearing and now I'm going to go to the differential. (audible whirring/grinding noise) So the noise we're experiencing is in the differential.
