What AC Compressor is Best for my Car?

My first piece of advice is to use caution when deciding.  The warranty is extremely important as well as the customer service to back it up.  Here in Mesa Arizona we have extreme high temperatures which puts a ton of stress on the compressors.  Because of that, repeat failures can occur and that’s why the warranty is so important.  Next, use only a new compressor.  Here at Mercie J auto care we’ve seen almost no success when remanufactured units are installed. Finally, make sure the entire ac compressor job is performed properly.  The accumulator or drier should be replaced, proper air conditioning compressor oil is need, and the condenser and evaporator should be serviced.  The bottom line here is to do the research and choose a high quality new compressor from a known brand with a great reputation and fantastic warranty service.
