Shop Secrets: How Orange Cones Keep our work Safe and Efficient.

Ellen was walking through the shop and she asked me what's up with the orange cone under the hood? Welcome to Mercie J, where compassion and craftsmanship come together, I'm Rick Smith.

So each and every one of us in the shop have a number of cones with our initials on them and those cones are mostly reminders for us but they're also to tell somebody else not to touch the car because something's going on there we're aware of. In this case, I have drained the oil as part of the basic service that I'm doing today but I have not refilled it yet, so if I get pulled away I get distracted I don't want to forget but oil in it. so I have this orange cone here to remind me to put oil in it.

We use them for lots of other things as well and they're just really good reminders so that those simple things that we might forget easily always get taken care of. Thanks for watching and until next time, safe travels and blessings to you.
